Have you received a referral to work with a Deaf person who communicates by sign language?

Do you have a Deaf person in your workplace?

  • Learn basic sign language
  • Be aware of your duties under the BSL (Scotland) Act 2015

For just £10 per person, the council's Deaf Communication Service is running  awareness sessions to give voluntary sector and local business employees a better understanding of the needs of deaf people and the barriers they face. This includes a fun taster of British Sign Language.

2017 Dates

  • Thursday 21st September
  • Wednesday 18th October
  • Thursday 16th November
  • Monday 4th December

All sessions take place from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm, Bankhead Central Bankhead Park, Glenrothes, KY7 6GH
